Just had a lesson with Dianne Deal working Cap and Huck.  It was excellent.  Dianne provided a lot of value for both me and my dogs.  I could see Huck changing as we were working him and when working Cap Diane helped me see my weaknesses as a handler.  A very timely lesson for us and I'll be seeing her again when she comes back.  Very highly recommended.

 

Coming up May 15/16.  Supposed to be a big, tough field!  Excellent!!!!  Cap is moving to open at this trial.  :)  We'll see what we are made of.  Will do fine if Cap's  handler can manage to get out of his way!

 

Dave finally finshed fencing in about a 1/4 acre field.  Looks good, sheep love it, and it is a wonderful paddock after round pen graduation.  We are working Huck in there at the moment and it is working wonders.  Allowing him room to experience good space while still helping to keep things under control.

 

I'm not sure how many Kathy clinics I have attended... somewhere between 8 - 10 I think?  perhaps more...  I am amazed at the consistency of her clinics.  The message, articulation, instruction... all at an extremely high level, on target, clear, sensitive to the participants...  each time, every time.  Kathy is one hell of a clinician.  I also find that the more I know the more I learn.  I am able to take away so much more now... and apply it so much better.  Just another great clinic.
